Pam Hamilton, LCSW LSCSW
Pam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to people as she integrates her education and experience to promote healing and wholeness. She is the lead consultant in areas of trauma and secondary stress to the state of Missouri’s Children’s Division and has provided trainings to hundreds of organizations. She has created the Human Trafficking curriculum adopted by the state of Missouri’s child welfare department and served on the Missouri Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Task Force from it's inceptions through the fall of 2020. Her life journey from pastor, to life coach, to therapist, as well as her own healing from trauma, positions Pam to bring an effective and informed approach to her work. Pam is an energetic and engaging speaker who has trained thousands of professionals in resiliency practices, human trafficking and other mental health topics.
Whether in the therapy room or speaking to audiences, Pam brings energy, insight, humor and hope to her interactions. She is a firm believer in the resiliency of all people and our capacity for healing. She is a bearer of hope and brings light to the darkness.
Pam delights in her children and grandchildren, loves to swim, play pickleball and is energized by good conversation and fun. She and her wife Mary live in the Kansas City area.
Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Domestic Mediator, Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional, Certified Behavioral Analyst and is certified in the treatment of Complicated Grief through Columbia University’s Center for Complicated Grief.
